From Stella & Dot Hostess to Stylist

I have wanted to become a Stella&Dot Sylist for some time now. I had to get a couple things in my life in order before I could bring on something else.

I am happy to say that I can now officially sell the amazing jewelry I love so much!

I signed up right after I hosted my own trunk show last week. I had an amazing time with amazing friends and earned $312 in FREE STELLA&DOT JEWELRY! What could be better?

Here are a couple of the things I got with my hostess credits:

I used the "with love" necklace as the base for a charm necklace which I added the paw print, an "L" and my birthstone (Diamond, gotta love April birthdays). 

Each piece I got will remind me of the kickoff to my career as a Stella&Dot Sylist and I love bragging that I got it for FREE :)

I am backkkkk!

I tried WordPress for a little bit and it was simply not working for me. I could not fix the design how I wanted, I could not add widgets I wanted, I didn't like it.

You know what that means? I am a blogger girl!

Andddd I am back to blogging on a more regular basis. At least that's my plan.

I got a new dog, which makes for two sweet pups and a lot more great stories so you have that to look forward too.

I also am now selling Stella & Dot so if you are into the jewelry, you will want to check back for updates!

Wordpress or Not Wordpress?

I feel like 90% of the blogs I read/follow are on blogspot, but 100% of my work day is on Wordpress. Doesn't it make sense for my blog to be on Wordpress too? I own laurielizsmith.com (its nothing right now). It was my resume ("I am looking for a job") site, but now I am thinking maybe it should be my blog anddd maybe my blog should be on Wordpress.

I have never "made" a Wordpress site, that's why there are designers and programmers at work, duh. But I think I am going to play around and see what I can do on my own..

Life Lately

Today I was asked, "are you ever going to blog again?" Since you are reading this the answer is obviously yes. I do enjoy writing ... I do enjoy blogging ... I do enjoy sharing my thoughts with the world.

When my boss asked me if I was going to blog again, it made me smile. Why? Because I love that I have that kind of relationship with my boss ... Because someone cares what I do with my thoughts ... Because it reminded me I should find time to blog.

I feel like so much has been going on, but sitting down to write about it I can't pick out specifics. To me that means a great life -- it is all so great I can't pick out anything that is better than the rest. I am one lucky girl.

To blog or not to blog ....

So, it's been a LONG time since I blogged or sadly, read any blogs. At first, I was moving .. traveling .. & simply just busy. Then it became the question of do I want to blog again, because I am so busy.

So after weeks of not blogging. I realized that by not blogging, I wasn't expressing some feelings that only come out through blogging, but I was feeling more.

I only blogged for a couple months, but it affected me. I learned how to take note of my feelings & act on them. I learned how to "recap" my day/week/month/life in a way that made me remember how awesome it was.

I still am not sure if I am going to continue blogging or not. I do not want it to feel like something I have to do & right now it may feel like that. I seem to be involved in too many things right now & need to get things in order. So, for now, I am leaving my blog open & wait.

I got an email from the beautiful AunieSauce that I won something from her JuneGiveaway!!! A Signature Sovrano Notepad from Our Reflection is on its way to me now! I am so excited & feeling so lucky ... I should enter the lottery??

On another note.....

I feel like I have been a bad blogger. I have been so busy & such that I have not updated.
